I'm having a crappy week, but not for lack of knitting progress. Here's proof (of the progress, not the cruddy week):
A new sock, knit from Claudia's Handpainted. Luxurious to knit with. I'm enjoying just fondling it.
And more progress on the pi shawl. It's been a WIP since April. I'm nearly done. I figure I have about 50 more rounds and then the edging. For some reason, I'm working pretty quickly on this one these past few weeks. There's my hand included for scale -- I thought about putting it over the Yarn Sniffer's head for scale (as EZ promised, it's making its own little bag as I knit it), but he's still asleep and as usual, I'm in a hurry.
Here's a close-up.
And here's one of my birthday gifts: a quad skein of Morehouse Merino laceweight (gonna take FOREVER to wind by hand) to make Melody's Shawl.
